He passed away after spending 10 days in hospice care, battling inoperable pancreatic cancer.
Mr. Barczyk peacefully departed on Sunday, surrounded by his family and loved ones, at the age of 54
The announcement was made by staff members at his Reptarium Reptile Zoo in Utica
who described him as "an extraordinary individual – a visionary, mentor, and friend" in their online tribute.
The staff expressed that Brian was more than just the guiding light of their organization
highlighting his ardent passion for reptiles and wildlife
